What is WOW?    A HANDS ON DISCOVERY PLACE!

Worlds of Wonder, Inc. is a private, 501©3 non-profit organization comprised of a Board of Volunteer Directors supported by enthusiastic community volunteers.

Mission:

WOW will educate, entertain and encourage children ages 1-10 to explore the world through interactive exhibits in art, science and everyday living.

History:

Worlds of Wonder...Four with a Dream

It began as a dream - a wonderful dream for the children of Northeast Missouri.
A place where children's imaginations could soar. A place of discovery where children could play with each other or with their families; all while learning about the world and the incredible wonders it holds.  Others learned of the dream and were filled with excitement and ideas for making the dream a reality. Then there were more who formed a Board of Directors and volunteered their time and talents.

Now, we are asking you to help us bring this dream to life. Help us show our children how much we care for them. Worlds of Wonder will help children learn so many things about the world next door and the world of far away places.

Vision:

We will WOW children and their families by stimulating learning with innovative hands-on exhibits and programs. We will further strive to bring the world and its many wonders to our region while complementing the existing cultural attractions and educational opportunities for children to our region.
